Today I will be reviewing one of the most talked about cleansers on the market at the moment! The ‘Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser’. I first noticed this product in Boots when a member of staff came up to me and asked if I would like to test the product. I would always recommend testing a product before buying especially when the price tag is more on the expensive side. The lady used the cleanser on my hand and then washed it off and as soon as she used it I could feel the difference! This product gets the dirt off your skin like nothing I have ever seen before. My hand instantly felt so clean and refreshed. A few weeks later I invested and here is my review!
Cleaning Power 5/5 What I especially like about this cleanser is that you can feel the results. Once you take this product off with the cloth your face feels so refreshed and open. The cleaning power is excellent and I can understand why people say consistent use of this product prevents breakouts. It clears skin of any bacteria and leaves it feeling very refreshed and radiant.
Moisturising 3/5 My one criticism to this product is that, for me personally, it dries out my skin. I think this is due to the product being so intense in cleaning your skin. I already have quite dry, sensitive skin and therefore I found daily use really dried out my skin. However, occasional use works perfectly for me and keeps my skin looking radiant and healthy. This isn’t a criticism for everyone though as I’ve heard on many skin types, daily use is great and clears up their skin quickly.
Price 4/5 I think the price is very fair for the quality of the product and the results it produces. It is definitely a high end cleanser and the price reflects this. It sells for £16 with the cloths included. Although this is more than I have ever paid for a cleanser, I would certainly spend it again.
Packaging 5/5 I was really impressed with the packaging of Liz Earle products. There is a distinct theme throughout their products that portrays a very natural feel. The packaging is very simple but effective and the Liz Earle counter stands out due to their pastel blue and green coloured packaging making the brand very recognisable.
Overall, this product is very good and this cleanser really does clean. I believe it is much more natural than other cleansers containing harsh chemicals and the results are undeniable. I am extremely impressed with my first Liz Earle purchase and I am very excited to use other products in the future!
Until next time,
